The Maximum Dosage Band started as friends and co-workers who all enjoyed similar kinds of music. They either worked for the hospital in Sharon, Ct or lived in the area. The members include an emergency room doctor, a radiology tech, emergency room tech, and a retired correctional officer. They have performed at venues in the states of Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts.
Each year they sponsor and organize a fund raiser called Cabin Fever. This is for people who work at the hospital that need a little support because of tough times. They also play and support the Jane Lloyd Fund every summer in Salisbury, Ct.
The Maximum Dosage Band performs for private parties, and at night clubs in the local tri-state area.
